Our new Certificate in Social Media Marketing & Fundraising program covers the fundamentals of social media marketing and fundraising for your nonprofit. Participants will learn how to create and maintain a content strategy, current best practices for the top-performing social media sites, and how to be an early adopter of emerging social media trends.

Based on 101 Digital Marketing & Fundraising Best Practices for Nonprofits, the certificate program requires the completion of four webinars. The webinars only cost $20-30 each so that nonprofit professionals worldwide can earn the certificate without having to make a significant financial investment.

The required four webinars are:

[$30] January 25: Facebook & Instagram Best Practices for Nonprofits
[$30] February 8: LinkedIn & Twitter Best Practices for Nonprofits
[$20] February 22: Emerging Social Media Trends for Nonprofits

To earn the certificate, you can attend the webinars live or view the recordings – or a combination of both. A link to the recording and a comprehensive set of notes are emailed to registrants 24-48 hours after each webinar is over. Please note that the live webinars for the certificate will not be presented again until January 2023.

To claim your certificate:

  1. Attend/view all four webinars
  2. Save your receipts and the secret passphrases presented in each webinar
  3. Request your certificate via email at the end of the fourth webinar from Heather Mansfield, founder and editor-in-chief of Nonprofit Tech for Good
