Certificate Programs

Nonprofit Tech for Good offers two certificate programs based on the blog and webinar series 101 Digital Marketing & Fundraising Best Practices for Nonprofits.

To earn the certificates, you can attend the webinars live or view the recordings – or a combination of both. Both certificate programs only cost $100 USD each so that nonprofit professionals worldwide can earn the certificates without having to make a significant financial investment.

1) New! Certificate in Social Media Marketing & Fundraising

Our new Certificate in Social Media Marketing & Fundraising program covers the fundamentals of social media marketing and fundraising for your nonprofit. Participants will learn how to create and maintain a content strategy, current best practices for the top-performing social media sites, and how to be an early adopter of emerging social media trends. The total cost is $100 and the required four webinars are:

[$30] February 8: LinkedIn & Twitter Best Practices for Nonprofits
[$20] February 22: Emerging Social Media Trends for Nonprofits

2) Certificate in Digital Marketing & Fundraising

Our Certificate in Digital Marketing & Fundraising program covers the fundamentals of website design, email marketing, online fundraising, and social media for nonprofits. The total cost is $100 and the required three webinars are:

[$30] April 12 or recording: Online Fundraising Best Practices for Nonprofits
[$40] May 10 or recording: Social Media Best Practices for Nonprofits

To request the most recent recordings for the Certificate in Digital Marketing & Fundraising program, please email Heather Mansfield at heather@nptechforgood.com. In the email, please clarify which of the recordings you need to complete the program or if you are requesting all three webinar recordings.

The total cost is $160 and the required six webinars are:

To claim your certificate:

  1. Attend/view required webinars
  2. Save your receipts and the secret passphrases presented in each webinar
  3. Request your certificate via email at the end of the fourth webinar from Heather Mansfield, founder and editor-in-chief of Nonprofit Tech for Good

About recorded webinars:

A recording of each webinar is sent 24-48 hours after the webinar is over. If you can not attend the webinars live, watching the recordings does apply toward earning a certificate. You can also request the recording (when applicable) from the previous presentation. Please see each webinar description for more information on previously recorded webinars.

The webinars for each certificate program are presented 2-3 times annually.
